mia ftz and Pauline Touchais Leriche have joined forces to bring together diverse perspectives in a project centered on movement: they organize gatherings and invite people to take walks to confront violence, shed its burdens, and celebrate friendship.

mia ftz (winner of the 2025 Prix du Nouveau Printemps) has teamed up with Pauline Touchais Leriche. Together, for Le Nouveau Printemps 2026, the two artists have conceived a work centered on movement.

From Trois‿ to the Jolimont Observatory. From the intimate to the collective.

From the taboo to the visible. From a burden to a form of lightness. They name the forms of violence that are taking shape—those of a patriarchal and colonial capitalist system against which many voices are speaking out. They invite ten people working on the subject of violence to come together: activist collectives, artists, and researchers. These exchanges are the subject of a publication, presented at Trois‿a, blending their words and situating the subject of violence at the intersection of struggles.

In Western Aveyron, where they live, Pauline and Mia this time invite their friends and family to a collective healing ritual: a journey aimed at letting go of an object, a symbol of the weight of the violence that affects us, and in celebration of the friendships that sustain us. Back in Toulouse, they invite residents of the Bonnefoy neighborhood and visitors to the Nouveau Printemps to join this journey: between Trois‿a and the Jolimont Observatory. At the culminating destination, overlooking the city, a cairn forms from the pile of deposited objects—a visible collective trace that transcends words.

An exhibition at Atelier Trois‿a produced by Le Nouveau Printemps, with Jérôme Dupeyrat and Julie Martin as curators.
