Born in 1999, lives and works in Villefranche-de-Rouergue.

mia ftz earned her DNSEP degree from the Toulouse Higher Institute of the Arts (isdaT) in 2024. She is also a member of L'accalmie, a traveling community-run micro-bookstore that she co-founded in 2021. She currently lives in Villefranche-de-Rouergue, in the Aveyron department.

Her artistic intentions are generally driven by a focus on failure and difficulty, but also—and above all—on attempts. Through photography, video, writing, and publishing, she weaves threads connecting the unsaid, the attempt to speak, and the act of sharing; and intertwines the personal with broader socio-political concerns.

Her latest works and current projects focus on perpetrators of sexist and sexual violence and their loved ones. Since November 2024, together with the transdisciplinary artist Pauline Touchais Leriche, she has been co-facilitating and documenting a monthly series of discussions on these topics as part of a project research phase.
