
Safouane Ben Slama
Born in 1987. Lives and works in Paris.
Safouane Ben Slama has a background in philosophy and exhibition studies. He has developed a photographic practice focused on territories and communities situated on the margins of dominant narratives. His work highlights minority bodies and stories, exploring intimacy, emotions, and everyday gestures.
Winner of the Regards du Grand Paris photography commission, he exhibits regularly in France and internationally. Since 2023, he has been leading several projects in Occitanie through residencies and exhibitions, extending his research on the links between territories and lived experiences.
