Collectif IPN
How can we capture the life of an artist’s studio? In the heart of the Bonnefoy neighborhood, IPN opens the doors to its workspace and presents a video and sound installation that draws inspiration from the daily life of the space.
Cameras and microphones make their way into the studio. The artists pause their work for a moment to reveal its rhythm, the repeated gestures, and the discreet rituals that keep the studio running day by day. What is being prepared here? An exhibition, a party, or simply the chance to keep creating together?
The film captures, in turn, the collective buzz, moments of stillness, anxious silence, and the resumption of movement. Tools become filming props, and sounds weave a shared tapestry. Projected onto several screen-sculptures, the fragmented sequences invite the audience to piece together the narrative themselves: that of a fragile yet lived-in space, sustained daily by those who work there, and who, through their space and their gestures, offer a different perspective on independent creation.
