FLIRT #3 — Imagining the cultural space of the 21st century

From Monday, March 30 to Friday, April 3, F.L.I.R.T is organizing the third edition of its workshop dedicated to the transformations of cultural spaces. Titled “Imagining the Cultural Space of the 21st Century,FLIRT#3 brings together students, teachers, artists, architects, designers, art historians, and cultural professionals for a period of exchange and collective research.

Participants in this edition include members of the Toulouse Higher Institute of Arts and Design, the University of Toulouse – Jean Jaurès, the National School of Architecture of Toulouse, as well as teams from the organizations that make up F.L.I.R.T.: air de Midi, Lieu-Commun, Le Nouveau Printemps, and the Maison de l’architecture Occitanie Pyrénées.

The public is invited to discover the results of the workshop during the public launch on Friday, April 3, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The exhibition will be open from Saturday, April 4, to Saturday, April 18, Wednesday through Saturday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Roundtable — Schools × Institutions: Cooperating to Foster Emerging Talent


As a follow-up to FLIRT#3, a roundtable discussion will explore the connections between education, emerging talent, and the professionalization of artists.

From training to professional life, how can we support artist-authors? Drawing on concrete examples, this discussion will address collaborations between art schools and cultural institutions, as well as strategies to foster emerging talent, secure career paths, and support professional development.
