Osama Ahdi
Born in 2001. Lives and works in Spain.
Osama Ahdi is a fashion and fine art photographer of Moroccan background. After beginning his career in creative studio environments, including Apartamento Studios, he developed a visual language that moves fluidly between fashion and artistic expression. Drawn to versatile scenarios and dynamic environments, he works with diverse casts, features, and identities, embracing what makes each subject distinct. His approach is candid yet never accidental, each frame carries intention. While his images often feel spontaneous, they are deliberate in execution, grounded in a clear understanding of why the moment is captured in that particular way.
His work exists at the intersection of image-making and storytelling, combining reportage, still life, and fashion photography. Navigating a playful balance between spontaneity and composition, he explores narratives that are both styled and intuitive. Ahdi has contributed to publications such as Elle Magazine, Apartamento Magazine, Overdue Magazine, and Architectural Digest, and has collaborated with brands including Adidas, New Balance, Acne Studios, and Kapital. His work has been exhibited at venues such as Soho House, Somerset House, and La Mamounia. Resisting strict categorization, his practice is rooted in a fine art sensibility, where each project becomes an exploration of atmosphere, emotion, and detail. Through his lens, he seeks to elevate the unnoticed, transforming subtle moments into striking visual experiences.
