Daud Lusmore
Born in 1972. Lives and works between Senegal and Mallorca (Spain).
Lusmore Daud’s scenic and immersive works aim to go beyond the conventional. He practices art as a universal language in motion, as the essence of a practice in which the boundaries between painting, performance, and the performing arts are blurred.
His murals, evocative and rich in symbols and vivid metaphors, are often created in urban settings, in abandoned factories, on buildings, or in temporary installations. Centered on the act of painting, he has expanded his work into various fields, incorporating theatrical performance, audiovisual media, and other scenic elements: action painting, muralism, installation, video art, music, performance, and scenography.
