Born in 1946, Marianne Heske is a Norwegian artist. She is best known for her video paintings and installations exploring interactions between humanity and nature. The Gjerdeløa project, which involved moving a 350-year-old barn from Tafjord to the Pompidou Center is considered one of the first examples of Norwegian conceptual art.
